Church membership is the privilege and duty of every Christian. The members of Welcome Baptist Church will be delighted for you to unite with our congregation.

You are urged to notify our pastor of your desire for membership. You may do this by approaching him during the Invitation Time of our worship service, or by contacting him in any other fashion.

 

·         Notify the pastor of your commitment to Jesus Christ and of your agreement to comply with our church covenant.

·         We will demonstrate our acceptance of your membership by a vote of the congregation present.

·         If you have not already been baptized by immersion as a Christian, our pastor will work with you to schedule a time for your baptism.

·         If you are a member of another church, we will notify them of your desire to unite with us so that they may send us a letter of recommendation or verification of your membership.

 

 

Any person will be warmly received as a member into this church when they are ready to become a true follower of Jesus Christ by repenting of sin and putting their trust in Jesus.

·         Notify the pastor of your desire to become a follower of Jesus and to comply with our church covenant. He will counsel and pray with you about your decision.

·         We will demonstrate our acceptance of your membership by a vote of the congregation present.

·         Your membership will become official as soon as you are baptized.
