Our Ministry Assistant, Jonene Garrett, was born and raised in Pickens County where she still resides with her husband, David. She came to Welcome Baptist Church in March of 2005. She has been a church secretary in the upstate for over ten years. Her heart is to serve the Lord through her talent of music and her spiritual gift of mercy. Jonene became a Christian in 1977 during Vacation Bible School at her home church. Since then, she has accepted the call to serve in many areas of Christian service.
